Fees and charges

The Competitions and Marketing Authority require us to be transparent with our cremation fees and provide them in an accessible format, detailing what is, and what is not included within the fees.

Fees and charges valid 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025.

  • What is included

    The use of the chapel for a service of up to 45 minutes

    The use of the Obitus music system for hymns and popular music

    The display of a single photograph of the deceased throughout the service if desired

    A medical referee to scrutinise the cremation paperwork

    The strewing of cremated remains in the gardens or, for removal the provision of a biodegradable box and a certificate of cremation.

    A two line entry in the book of remembrance if desired*

    What is not included

    Visual tributes (photo montages) or webcasting of the service

    Any other type of memorialisation

    Out of England Certificate (for the removal of cremated remains to another country)

    *Two line entry is not automatically applied. It is the responsibility for the applicant for cremation to make an application. Full/attended services only held between 1/1/25 and 31/3/25. Other lines and motives may be purchased. Terms and conditions apply. Contact the office for full details.

    Out of England Certificate (for the removal of cremated remains to another country)

  • What is included

    The dispersal of cremated remains in the gardens or, for removal the provision of a biodegradable box and a certificate of cremation

    What is not included

    The use of the chapel (other than for the transportation of the deceased into the building)

    The ability for any person to attend

    The use of the Obitus music system

    Visual tributes (photo montages) or webcasting

    Any type of memorialisation

    Out of England Certificate (for the removal of cremated remains to another country)
