Burial of cremated remains

Cremated remains may be interred in a plot at Oakfield Gardens with a lease of 20 or 30 years. To support the sustainable ethos of the site the remains can be pre-treated with a specially formulated soil which breaks them down soon after their interment. This enables the plot to be used indefinitely by a family or, where the lease to the plot is surrendered or lapses, the plot can be re-leased to another family for use. A dedicated memorial ‘wedge’ plaque can be purchased and placed on the plot.

Please contact the office for more details.

Please read the regulations pertaining to cremated remains plots here.

Garden plaque

Within the formal memorial garden’s sweeping shrub boarders you can lease a bronze plaque dedicated to your loved one. You may place a handful of freshly cut flowers in front of your plaque which will be cleared by staff once they are past their best. Please note that cremated remains are not scattered or buried in this area but can be scattered in the wildflower glade. These plaques are offered on a lease of 10 or 20 years.
